So here goes. I attended the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film (JCSTF) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) where I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Film and New Media. While at UNL, I also completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biochemistry and English with an emphasis in film studies. My undergraduate thesis was a study in 2D experimental animation and filmmaking techniques which prompted me to continue my education with the 3D Animation and Visual Effects program at Vancouver Film School (VFS) in British Columbia. At VFS, I focused on animation and rigging, however I was also required to put a lot of other CG and VFX disciplines into practice and navigate the production pipelines.
I have experience working on student and independent film projects as a producer, production manager, editor and production assistant. I have also worked as a freelance artist in video production/post-production and in the advertising industry as a producer, production manager, motion graphics artist, 2D/3D animator, rigger and editor.
Everything on this site was ultimately created in the interest of telling stories – whether those stories were brought to life in front of a camera, created inside a computer or conveyed through seemingly static design. I love stories (they are like creative oxygen, something we feeble humans really cannot live without), and I would very much enjoy and appreciate the opportunity to help you tell your next one!
